Ogun Commissioner, Olufemi Oduntan hails Abiodun as he bags Independent Newspapers Governor of the year award
The Commissioner for rural development, Hon. Olufemi Ilori Oduntan has congratulated the Executive Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Governor Dapo Abiodun who was awarded Governor of the Year 2023 by the Independent Newspapers.
The Independent Newspapers honored Governor Abiodun for his commitment in using Innovation and technology in driving the economy of the State.
Hon. Ilori Oduntan in her congratulatory statement described Governor Abiodun as a great “performer” especially in the area of technology.
She said “As a pace-setter in the field of technology that holds innovation in high esteem, we commend the effort of His Excellency on his outstanding contributions to the development and progress of Ogun State following his dedication to courageous leadership, setting an inspiring example for others in the public sector.
“Our Governor is a visionary, he is determined to create wealth and prosperity for the people of Ogun state and all eyes and attention is on him as he courageously unfolds his strategic plans which are a mark of novelty in leadership to bring dreams into reality”
Following the distinguished award presentation deservedly conferred on the governor, the Commissioner emphasized that she has high hopes that the Governor, through his determined efforts and exceptional commitment to the prosperity of Ogun State and given his many novel and strategic projects, will accomplish more significant infrastructure development and capacity enhancement in the state in the shortest possible time.
“The visionary initiatives have not only elevated the standard of living for the people but have also positioned Ogun State as a beacon of progress and development”.
