The Council chairman, Obafemi Owode Local Government, Ogun State, Hon. Ogunsola Adesina Lanre, FCPA has electrified Akiode and Erinle villages in Obafemi-Owode Local Government.
He also provided an electric motorized boreholes to the people of Erinle and Amusan villages.
The projects were facilitated by him,but had issues for over sixteen years and finally resuscitated to the use of all residents of the villages.
The council boss also disclosed that the projects were of the interest of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, Governor of Ogun State in paying back for the support of the people given him at the last election.
He further explained that the state governor specifically directed him to include every ward that has supported the government , as to whom much is giving, much is expected.
Ogunsola therefore enjoined both villages to maintain the boreholes in order to enjoy it for many years ahead.
The council chairman also used the medium to unveil plans in providing a modern market at Agbopa/Erunwon community to encourage and bring relief to the business activities of the area so they can explore the benefit of the ongoing federal road construction at the Abeokuta/Ajebo/Ogunmakin dual carriage way linking Ibadan express way, while some other villages like Gbalesun, Fodoko, Oba Eerin, Ijemo Molusi, Magbon should be expecting their Boreholes to be Commissioned very soon.
Similarly, Amb. Ogunsola felicitated Chief Julius Akanni Mesioye, Baale Erinle Village on his installation as the first Certificated Baale in the history of Erinle Village, who is recognized by the government and the Chieftaincy law of Ogun state.
He joined all sons and daughters from the village at the occasion,as he is also the son of the soil from Akiode village, Ajebo ward of obafemi owode local government area.
Chief Isawu Adeniji, Baale Amusan village thanked the government for rewarding their loyalty in providing them with a modern motorized borehole which has been a dream of all the people in the village, formally stream water has been the only source of our water, said the Baale.
He further praised Amb. Ogunsola for re-writing the history of their land during his time and promised that, they will continue standing by this Government anytime.
In the same vein, Chief Julius Akanni Mesioye, Baale Erinle village explained that he is fulfilled as he is witnessing the commissioning of a motorized borehole and electricity, all in one day, he prayed for continuous success on discharge of government policies and plans for both the council boss and the Ogun State Governor respectively.
