The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, has felicitated warmly, a broadcaster; Ify Onyegbule, on her latest appointment as the substantive Director-General of Imo Broadcasting Corporation, by Governor Hope Uzodinma led government in the state.
IGP Baba described Onyebule’s appointment as an attestation and clear reinforcement of her broadcasting excellence and prowess.
According to Force Headquarters Spokesman; CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the IGP while reiterating that the broadcaster’s “appointment is a proof of her strength and dedication to duty,” he assured of the commitment of the Force to improved partnership with the management of Imo Broadcasting Corporation, under her watch.
The country’s police boss expressed the confidence that the partnership would provide an enabling environment for a balanced reportage to ensure a safe, secured and peaceful Imo State in particular, and the nation in general.
“The Inspector-General of Police wishes the duo and their teams all the best even as they buckle up for the task ahead of them. He similarly urged them to put their best foot forward towards ensuring they achieve their respective organizational goals,” Adejobi stated.
