Hon. Seyi Sodiya, former Councillor ward 8, Abeokuta South Local Government Ogun State, popularly known as Solution has emerged the Councillorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC .
Sodiya won in a keenly contested Primaries that held on Monday.
Solution secured 26 votes to defeat his opponents during the primary election.
In his acceptance note, the Winner Seyi Sodiya appreciated the ward executives and leaders of the party for their support, commending the executives who elected him.
He thanked them for believing in his vision and taking time to exercise their franchise in the Primary election saying their votes are testament to the power of democracy and the desire for positive change.
He promised not to betray the trust and confidence reposed in him but to run an all-inclusive campaign so that the Party can emerge victorious during the general election.
He lauded the passion and commitment of other Aspirants who contested with him to the progress ward 8.
He said though the Primaries have ended with him emerging as the Flag-bearer, he is optimistic that their shared goal of a better Ward 8 will be attained.
In his words “we look forward to working together, combining our strengths and ideas to achieve our common goal. Let us unite, putting aside political differences to drive development and prosperity for our People. Together, we can make a meaningful impact”
He ascribed the victory to God Almighty and the People who believe in him and his vision for the Ward.
He assured the People of the Ward of his readiness and commitment to provide credible representation and exceptional leadership that would attract development and build the capacities of the People if elected as the Councilor in the Main election.
