Adeleke Adeyinka, popularly known as waste no time has emerged the Councillorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in ward 15, Abeokuta South Local Government.
The chairmanship candidate won in a keenly contested primary that held on Monday.
He secured 22votes to defeat his opponent, who scored 2 votes during the election.
In his acceptance note, the winner, Adeleke appreciated the ward executives and leaders of the party for their support, commending the executives who elected him.
He thanked them for believing in his vision and taking time to exercise their franchise in the Primary election saying their votes are testament to the power of democracy and the desire for positive change.
The candidate promised not to betray the trust and confidence reposed in him but to run an all-inclusive campaign so that the Party can emerge victorious during the general election.
He lauded the passion and commitment of other aspirant who contested with him for the progress of ward 15.
In his words “we look forward to working together, combining our strengths and ideas to achieve our common goal. Let us unite to drive development and prosperity for our People. Together, we can make a meaningful impact”
He ascribed the victory to God Almighty and the People who believe in him and his vision for the Ward.
Adeleke assured the People of the Ward of his readiness and commitment to provide credible representation and exceptional leadership that would attract development and build the capacities of the People if elected as the Councilor in the Main election.
