In celebration of its 5th anniversary, Redemption Mission Group is reminiscing on its achievements in the Ogun State political sphere.
The RMG recalled how its mobilisation strategy and advocacy contributed to the victory of Governor Dapo Abiodun of the All Progressives Congress.
The chairman of the group, Comrade Oyekunle Adebayo, Jp Oba added that many political figures, including the member House of Representatives, Abeokuta North, Obafemi Owode & Odeda Federal constituency, Hon. Olumide Osoba is one of the faces of the youth group.
The chairman made this known in an interview with Newsangle online on Saturday
According to him, RMG is an APC Youth (group) we believe that “our future is bright in politics and that’s one reason we created RMG with the mission of nurturing successful youth in the society”.
“We are proud of the youth who have become the face of RMG in politics; we can say Governor Dapo Abiodun, Aremo Segun Osoba, the national leader of APC among others are our products. These leaders however monitor the group to ensure that it remains on its trajectory.”
“Our group has been instrumental in successful campaigning and successive winning of elections in Ogun state. In 2019, we met with Governor Abiodun to discuss with him, and afterwards, he pointed us to Baba Osoba, and we met with him as well before going for the campaign”.
He echoed that the group will continue to engage in politics, stating that the youths are leaders of tomorrow.
“In sum, our group has been actively engaged in politics, and we can all see the successes we have achieved. And we shall continue on this path.”
