As part of their efforts in contributing their quota to society, the Events Vendors who are based in Ogun State have put smiles on the faces of some widows in the State.
They donated food items to the widows as to assist them.
The sharing of the food items held at the NUJ OFFICE, Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta.
The initiative according to them is in preparation for their first all Ogun Events Vendors Symposium which will hold on
10th of October 2023 at EMPHELIX event place, OGTV road Abeokuta.
“As event vendors, we see first hand what it means for people not to have enough. We manage people’s emotions at all times. At our catering stands, we understood what it means to be in need!
“In preparation for our first ever, OGUN EVENTS’ VENDORS SYMPOSIUM, we have decided to contribute our little quota by engaging the widows in the society and lending helping hands from our pockets.
“We have seen the efforts of the government, and we felt it’s imperative to do the little we could to support the efforts of the Prince Dapo Abiodun led government!
“We decided to share food items to interested widows in Ogun state capital of Abeokuta. This is happening right now at the NUJ OFFICE, Oke-Ilewo Abeokuta.
“Ogun events’ vendors, will continue to use her platform to support the less privileged and this is one of so many that we would still do.
“We will also be using this medium to intimate the media and men of the press about our upcoming first ever, OGUN EVENTS’ VENDORS SYMPOSIUM, Which will be coming up on the 10th of October 2023 at EMPHELIX event place, OGTV road Abeokuta.
“We know the importance of having event vendors under one umbrella, and we aimed at making our members learn, unlearn and relearn, gaining more experience, networking and getting to know those who are in the same line of business and also to render assistance to each other when we need
“Hence; our reason for organizing this symposium. It promises to be a worthwhile experience for participants as we have a lot of plans in place, and a lot of special dignitaries and great scholars from various walk of life have been invited to grace the occasion and share from their wealth of experience.
“They will be on-site to answer questions from our panelists. And our members will be trooping in from all parts of Ogun state.
“The Event industry is a very large one and one that employs a lot of permanent and temporary staffs! We are employees of labors and we believe in reorienting our members about their rules and duties, and this symposium will serve a very good purpose.
“We want to appreciate the support of everyone who in one part or the other is contributing to the growth of events industry in the state and the country at large, and we implore event vendors who haven’t joined to summon the courage and join us, as it’s the best platform you can think of being in at the moment!
“Members are from different parts of the state and you will get to know those you are in the same locality and can always reach out to each other.
“We also want to use this medium to appreciate the amazing media team whom we have invited and are available at the moment to help us air and broadcast this. We feel your importance and know you are the mouthpiece of society. We want to implore you to continue using your platform to propagate our programs and keep delivering top notch contents that will aid the development and growth of the society
