The lawmaker, representing Abeokuta South State Constituency 11, Hon. Igbalaye Wasiu Ayodele, popularly known as IWA has flagged-off the drilling of borehole for his constituents.
The drilling is taking place at Oke- ijeun Ward 8, Sokenu opposite State hospital.
Speaking during the flag-off of the exercise the lawmaker said the aim of the water project is to provide good water for the people of his constituency, thereby reducing health hazards caused by unhygienic water.
IWA submitted that he was working on bringing other democratic dividends, such as youth and women empowerment programmes and called on the people to exercise patience.
Many members of the community and party members came out with excitement to witness the flag off exercise
