The Executive Chairman, Abeokuta North Local Government, Ogun State, Prince Adebayo Ayorinde Abdulsalam has inaugurated sixteen committee members charged with the responsibility of distributing palliatives to residents and vulnerables in the local government.
The committee was inaugurated on Tuesday at council secretariat, the committee is led by the Local Government Chairman, Prince Adebayo Ayorinde Abdul-Salam.
According to the council chairman, the committee is tasked with the distribution of palliatives to less priviledged in the state.
The composition of the committee is designed to ensure that palliatives reach every corner of the community, aligning with the promise made to the people of the state by Governor Dapo Abiodun.
The Council Chairman urged the committee members to carry out their duties without bias, irrespective of political affiliations, ethnicity, or religious beliefs, emphasizing that they are all partners in progress.
Other Committee members are , Princess Ronke Ogunremi; Co-chairperson, the SLG Odusiji Kabiru A.; secretary, Alhaja Faidat Akintunde, Hon (Dr) Wale Bello – GLO, Oyindamola Oyelese; member of the Central Working Committee (CWC), Hon Sikiru Tunde Sanni – Leader of the House, Comrade Usman Olamilekan – CDC, Pst. M.O. Bamigboye – CAN, Rufai Musiliudeen Adigun – League of Imam Representative, Alhaja Taiwo Atela – Iyaloja, Apostle Peter.O. Adeniji – CDC, Comrade Abdulmujeeb Akewugbere – Youth Leader.
