Obefemi Owode Local Government Legislative Council , Ogun State has passed a vote of confidence on the Executive Chairman of the council, Amb. Hon. Ogunsola Adeshina Lanre as a result of his laudable achievements within two years in office.
The Leader of the Legiative house, Hon. Akinsola Kayode Kehinde who spoke on behalf of other legislators in the council during a press conference expressed satisfaction with the performance of the chairman since assumption of office, noting that the council boss has been able carry everybody along in the discharge of responsibilities aimed at peaceful coexistence and development of the local Government Area.
Hon. Akinsola while speaking with newsmen confidently said that Ogunsola has performed beyond the expectations of the people within two years
He hinted that the projects initiated by the council chairman within two years were unprecedented.
Meanwhile, Amb. Ogunsola has appreciated the support of all the Legisllators in running a Government of transparency and equity.
Ogunsola while speaking during a press conference held at Secretariat Conference room said that he has been able to execute laudable projects with the support of His Excellency, the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun.
The Council chairman maintained that he has touched all areas withing two years such as Education, Health and Medical , Agriculture, Security, Staff welfare and Youth development
He said, upon the recent achievements in the LG, believed that he had not fufilled yet adding that government is continum and a process.
Amb. Ogunsola however stated that, with the remaining Months ahead of his expiration of his tenure, he promised to embark on programmes and policies that are people-oriented which would leave no one or any part of the Local Government behind.
The Olu of Obafemi, Oba Taofeek Owolabi commended the council chairman for his great achievements within two years, saying that he is a promise keeper.
He described Ogunsola as an outstanding council chairman, adding that he is a man of his words.
