As part of the events marking two years in office, Executive Chairman, Obafemi Owode Local Government has Commissioned Motorized Boreholes at Akiode, Fidiwo and the Redeemed Christian Church of God respectively.
While declaring the Boreholes open for use, he rededicate his commitment towards improving the standard of living by providing necessary infrastructure to alleviate the yearnings of his people.
He therefore thanks the good people of the area for supporting his led administration in the council.
Chief Ogunsola Sunday Taiwo, Baale, Akiode village could not hold is joy while giving thanks to the government for providing motorized borehole, as it is a dream come true since over sixty years of his existence as an indegen of the village, only source of water was stream.
In the same vein, Hon. Isaiah Olusanjo, Honourable Councillor representing Ajebo Ward appreciates the council boss for delivering on his promises despite the paucity of fund in the council,while a leader from Fidiwo expressed profound joy on the water project that will serve more than six communities in the area.
Pastor Akin John, Director, Administration, Redeemed Christian Church of God made it known at the commission site that Amb. Ogunsola Adesina led administration in Obafemi Owode Local Government is the only Council boss that has identify with the redemption city since it is was founded and coincidentally this year makes its 75th anniversary.
He therefore prayed for a successful tenure in office.
Furthermore, Hon. Adeola Abolaji, Deputy Leader, Obafemi Owode Legislative Council appreciates the council boss for attending to the request of the Church, as it was requested during a visits of the chairman and its gladden me for coming through as part of projects marking two years in office.
