The Olu of Imasayi-Yewa, in Yewa North Local Government of Ogun state, Oba Lukmon Adeleke Kuoye FCIM, the Kofoworade Oyesokun, has welcome sons and daughter of his domain who recently performed the Hajj in Saudi Arabia.
The elated monarch while welcoming the pilgrims to his Palace, urged the pilgrims to continually pray for the success of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led administration.
He further admonished the youths to eschew all forms of violence, tasking them to work together for the progress and development of the ancient town of Imasayi-Yewa.
“I feel very happy to welcome you back from Hajj. The process of performing Hajj is a solemn one, which includes total submission to the will of almighty Allah in all things.
“I am particularly happy that our indigenes partook in this process. Therefore, I believe that the lessons of Hajj will be felt on our domain.
“I therefore urge you to continually pray for this country as you have done over there in Saudi Arabia. The job to make this country a better place for us all is our collective responsibility. Therefore, we must all play our part”, the monarch added
Amongst pilgrims who paid the monarch a visit includes, Alhaji Engr. AbdulRasak Olabode Ojetola, the PS Ministry of Environment and his wife, Alhaja Ojetola, Iyalaje of Imasayi-Yewa.
