27thThe Executive Chairman, Obafemi Owode Local Government, Ogun State, Ambassador Ogunsola Adesina has congratulated residents of his locality, Ogun State and Nigerians at large on this year’s Democracy Day.
In a goodwill message which was made available to journalists in Abeokuta , the council chairman noted that the successful accomplishments recorded by the current administration of Prince Dapo Abiodun in Ogun State so far underscores what democracy can bring to the table.
According to him, democracy gives all and sundry chances to hold political power and enjoy political freedom and equality.
” In view of this, I wish to extend my warm felicitations to residents of Obafemi Owode Local Government, Ogun State and Nigerians at large on the occasion of this year’s Democracy Day
The chairman also commended the state Governor, prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR for performing beyond the expectations of the people of the state, saying that the present success of the current administration across all sectors of governance in Ogun State is a clear testament of people’s choice.
He urged all residents of Ogun State to continue to support the current administration led by Prince Dapo Abiodun.
Ogunsola said since 1999, Nigeria has come a long way in democratic practice, noting that the country’s system is growing by the day.
The chairman used the occasion to call on Nigerians to remain united in the face of daunting challenges facing the country.
He also called on Nigerians to continue to support the president of the country, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu with prayers as to take the country to a greater height.
