The cause of the death of late Olumide Damilare Tosin, who is a strong member of All Progressives Congress, APC in Abeokuta South Local Government, Ogun State has been disclosed.
The APC member who contested for the post of a chairman of Abeokuta South Local Government died yesterday morning at the age of 45 and was buried the same day.
Late Olumide Damilare was also a member of a committee for Dapo Abiodun’s second term campaign in which he performed his role well during the time.
The deceased ‘s wife who spoke with our correspondent this morning said that her husband died after a brief illness.
She maintained that he had fever before he passed on.
Also a friend who is so close to the deceased, Mr Sanni confirmed to our correspondent that the APC member before his death had been taken to an hospital for treatment but later died at the hospital
Meanwhile the wife of the deceased who was crying bitterly during the interview begged the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun and the Leadership of the party to come to her aid in supporting her and the three children which the deceased left behind.
She said that she is not capable of taking full responsibility of the children, especially their education.
