The remains of late Alhaji Fatai Bodunrin were interred in his home, Sabo, along kabiotire, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The APC Chieftain died yesterday after a brief illness in Abeokuta.
He was laid to rest at about 10:am today according to Islamic rites. He was aged 80.
The representatives of the Governor were also present.
He was loved by his people for his philanthropic gestures and contributions to the welfare of many.
A large crowd of sympathizers and party loyalists thronged his home to pay tributes to him.

Other dignitaries at the burial include the Chairman of the party in the local government, Alhaja Faidat Sarumi, Hon. Adeshina, Hon. Wale Bello, Dr. Tunde Tella, the vice chairman of Abeokuta North, Hon. Oluajo, Hon. Lanre Sodipo, councilors and other party leaders and members.
They all paid their last respects to the late politician.
Alhaja Faidat Sarumi while speaking with news described the late politician as a generous man, who placed high premium on the welfare of the people of his community.
