A group, Dapo Abiodun Continuity Forum(DACOF), Abeokuta South, Ogun State on Monday held a Thanksgiving service to celebrate the victory of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, House of Representatives-elect, Senator-elect and house of Assembly-elect member in the local government.
The thanksgiving service had in attendance Alfas and Pastors who showered prayers on Abiodun and Tinubu.
The chairman of the group, Hon. Chief Mutiu Balogun while speaking with newsmen said the reason for the gathering is to show appreciation to God, who made it possible for the party to emerge victorious at the poll.
He added that that thanksgiving is to rededicate the state and the re-election of Governor Abiodun to God and promised that the same God who gave him victory will make him successful in his second term.
Balogun noted that the group is solidly behind the Governor of the State because he has not failed them.
The chairman therfore called on the members of the group to continue to support the Governor of the State, adding that bhe will perform better in his second term.
Also the Special Adviser to the Governor, Hon. Adebiyi , popularly known as Jaggy commended the group for the move , adding that the President-elect and the Governor deserved to be celebrated.
He maintained that the Governor of the state has performed wonderfully well in first time and he is quite sure that he will not disappoint the people of Ogun State in his second term.
