A senior operative of the Ogun State Vehicle Inspection Service(VIS); Engr. Adewale Ogundele, has hailed his Director, Engr. Olugbenga Adewale Ademehin, on the ‘Man of The Year 2022 Award’ bestowed on him for exemplary service, dedication and commitment to vehicle inspection in the state.
The award was given to Ademehin, a Mechanical Engineer and member of Nigeria Society of Engineers(MNSE), on Sunday by Prestige Newspaper at its 31st anniversary of robust community newspapering in the Gateway State.
Ogundele himself an engineer and the Zonal Commander VIS, Ogun East, in felicitating with the awardee over the prestigious honour, said that it was suitable and heart gladden that the Prestige Newspaper has acknowledged the sterling attributes, the great contributions and patriotic work of Ademehin in steering the affairs of VIO to maintaining sanity and saving of lives on roads in the state through vehicle inspection service.
While commending the newspaper for recognising his boss; Engr. Ademehin, for the honour, he said the award would spur the recipient to do more in his assignment and service to the state, the country and humanity.
No fewer than 28 other Nigerians, including Police Force Headquarters Spokesman and Chief Superintendent of Police(CSP), Olumuyiwa Adejobi (Man of The Year, Public Relations), Ogun State correspondent of the Daily Trust newspaper; Mr. Peter Moses(Best Investigative Reporter of The Year, Print, male category), Mrs Adejoke Adeleye of the PM News(Best Reporter of The Year, print, female category), Mr. Alarape Rafiu Abolare of the Silverbird Television (Most Innovative Cameraman of The Year, Broadcast category) and Habeebat Ajayi (Most Outstanding Reporter of The Year, broadcast, female category), were also given well deserved honours by the Prestige Newspaper during the anniversary celebration held in Abeokuta, the state capital.
