The executive members of the Niger Delta Youth Association, Anambra State Chapter paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner for Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Barrister Anthony Ikechukwu Ifeanya.
The executive members who were at the event are, the State Chairman Hon. Alex Osaka, Nze Ugo-Akpe Onwuka (Oyi) the State Publicity and Communications Director, Sir Ikechukwu C. Anonye (KSJI), the Protocol and Logistics Director, Hon. Ify Azụ, Director Welfare and Cmrd. Joe Okafor, Director Strategy.
The visit which took place on Friday the 10th of June, 2022 was a very fruitful one as matters of utmost importance to the sector were discussed and a solid foundation for a cordial and lasting relationship was laid.
The honourable Commissioner was presented with the Certificate as a Patron of the Association.
The Niger Delta Youth Association is committed to raising awareness on Environmental issues facing host communities.
The organization strives for peace, unity, freedom, development, equity and accountability.
They also aim to improve environmental safety with the help of the community through advocacy and the engagement of the youths.
NDYA while pushing for hightened awareness of environmental and operational issues and possible, sustainable solutions, is also committed to advocacy work in the host communities, and positioned to offer Alternative Dispute Resolution ADR, when and where needed.
